Black Rock Coffin Makers are a rock 'n' roll band from the depths of Dunedin, New Zealand.
"In a scene where rock bands seem too far and too few between, Black Rock Coffin Makers exist to bring live rock music back to its roots, a 5 piece, two guitar band, with set of well crafted, instantly likeable songs.
The feeling is of music that sounds lived-in; honest, with a raw gritty edge. Obviously these guys mean it, true rock n' roll fans playing heavy rock n' roll music. A welcome sight and sound in a scene where bands are trying to be extreme, whether extremely heavy or extremely noisy, this isn't the case with the Coffin Makers. There is definite evidence of effort and time being put into song craft and structure, on your second time watching you'll remember the songs, and find yourself singing the chorus, but this isn't sing-a-long pop, this is dirty, honest, raw rock n' roll."
