Outbreak EP ‘Epidemic’ Release Party
One cold, drizzle filled, “Sunny Dunedin” day 4 University music students and Scott Herriot (The Producer), headed into a tiny storage garage in South Dunedin. A place where Christpuncher once frequented for their ear bleeding rehearsals.
Outbreak; made up of Sam Rogers (Vocals), Digby Robinson (Guitar), Slade MacDonald (Bass), and Jo Farrant (Drums), jumped right into gear slamming through their songs in under 6 hours. In that time delivering as much energy as is put into their live shows, packing in all the power, heart, soul and Hard Rock into 1 CD.
This bad boy is finally being released to the public on Friday night at Re:Fuel. The style of the band has been described as the love child of Van Halen and the Foo Fighters, with their alternate rock and roll style of writing with their classic rock feel and live performances, filled with face melting guitar riffs, and heart stopping bass licks and drum rolls.
If you want a copy of the new CD and especially if you want to see what is sure to be their best show yet make sure you don’t miss this event. With a lineup of 4 bands and a light show to rival Pink Floyd (TBC) its a steal at only $2 or $5 if you want our CD. The CD will cost $8 after the show so get in while they're CHEAP!!!!
