The Mercy Maternity Clinic in Puerto Galera (Philipines) has a broken ultrasound machine. That's the gadget that looks at the baby when it's still inside - really important for managing difficult births. Seeing as they provide free, unconditional medical assistance to poor pregnant women in the region, they need a new one ASAP.
The solution is Babystock - Now an annual event run by 3rd year Med students its a concert to raise funds, this year's project is to buy a brand spanking new ultrasound machine.
Supporting this good cause are local heroes The Retrophonic Funk Machine, The Tweeks and local DJs Best Boys Electric will also be playing, and all for the miniscule sum of $5.00
So come down to Refuel on Friday June 13 and hear some great music - for a great cause.
