Volume Pedal Query.

Ok, Ernie Ball VPJR for passive, 250k pot.
Ok, the question. Heel is way down, still slight volume left.. should this not roll to silent??
I have it in my effects loop, only other thing in the loop is DE7, thats after the VPJR, config made no diff.. Help!
I want/need it to silence out, but still get to full vol also..

Update!! well, heres the case to anyone who is interested......
If you are looking to get and run vpjr through effects loop you will want the 25k pot- for active instrument, effects loop is active etc etc.
so, i got the 250k vpjr and thus meaning i have to have it guitar/vpjr/input...
I say this as i wasnt aware of this and made the wrong buying decision, i wanted it in effects loop.
Either way, play on...
