updated forum rules/guidelines

RULES
We are serious about these rules. Breaches of these rules will be dealt with on a case by case basis. Punishments may include warnings, suspensions, public ridicule, and bannination.

1] Administrators and moderators are the bosses. When we make a judgement, there is a reason. Do not impersonate a moderator/admin.
2] Do not use obscene, offensive, aggressive or threatening language.
3] Any deliberate attempt to circumvent the censorship system through use of special characters, phonetics or similar will be viewed as a breach of rules 1 and 2.
4] Do not reveal any personal information about another user without that user's permission. This might include name, age, gender or household appliances. It is very easy to offend people, so please be careful.
5] Do not post, or provide links to illegal or objectionable material.
6] Don't post gig posters unless the gig is in the past. You can post links to them, and describe the gig with text, but no posters please. If you want graphical advertising on the site, contact us.
7] Don't be a dick when it comes to your avatar or signature. We reserve the right to cull your signature/avatar if it is: too large, full of images, advertising, really offensive.

GUIDELINES
It's all common sense, but we reserve the right to slap wrists where necessary.

1] Please make posts in the appropriate forum.
2] Please check or search for similar threads before starting a new one.
3] Do not start multiple threads on the same topic.
4] If you have a suggestion about the forums or the site, or have found something that is broken please let us know in the Site Feedback forum.
5] Don't pretend to be someone you're not. An example of this is pretending to be an independent admirer of your own band.

In general our rules are based around one core idea - that this is a site for everyone. Have fun!
