To me DMC is about ALL Dunedin artists. If a Dunedin artist posts original work to do with a recent significant event, then I think it deserves some respect. If you don't like it fair enough, constructive criticism is always good, or 'just say nothing' is always a good policy.

no. why? because one of your weird little "we're so cool on the internet" clique started it

Does said "In crowd" have regular meetings?

What are the membership requirements?

I wouldn't know... not being one of them

Perhaps it was rather a dull expression to use, but you get my drift. I've said my piece and am happy to leave it at that.

Though on reflection I make it sound as though DMC is an awful place to be, which it clearly isn't. Just sometimes and I hope that these 'sometimes' reduce so everyone can enjoy and participate in forums and threads. And I have slapped myself for failing in that respect recently. #-o So I am not trying to be self rightious.

It’s true.
Just to be sure, I looked it up in the Old Testament (Our Lord’s Guide To Everything We Are Guilty Of). There are many Sins, but Simplicity isn’t one of them – and neither is banality, nor mawkishness.

Then I got desperate and checked te Koran (sorry the Koran).

Under Sharia Law Jae would be guilty of many, many things - but only if he was a woman. So it looks like he’s off the hook

Still, at least I’ve now got a quote.

I love it...

that is nothing compared to the shameless self-promotion of bob parker. he is not letting this "crisis" go to waste. especially now that there is an election on the horizon.

get a new jacket, bob.

hell no, but that is an electoral gift. especially when someone who seems to command respect in chch (Anderton) enters the ring. I know i'd do the same if i was in his position
