Onefest 2012 is coming!

The date for Radio One's annual flagship FREE music fest has been announced for Saturday, 21st July, 2012. All will be revealed this coming Friday morning at 8.30am on the Cosmic Breakfast when host Aaron Hawkins announces the full stunning Onefest 2012 lineup and venue.

Of course, entry will be free for those with a trusty 91 Club Card.

edit: The venue has been announced. With construction work done on the Union Hall, MCR, and the Link, it's been announced that Onefest 2012 will be held in the new flash-looking Main Common Room (where The Shins played for Orientation years ago). The bar will be open as well for "refreshments".

Onefest 2012 has been given the cherry-on-top.

Local support for the show has been announced as A Distant City.

After winning of one of the longest-named competitions around (OUSA in Association with Radio One 91fm Presents Converse Battle of The Bands 2012), they fulfill their unofficial domestic duties in joining the Onefest 2012 lineup.

Sadly, Loui The ZU has cancelled his Onefest 2012 appearance.

Quarks! from Wellington will be replacing him on the bill.
