Evidently, there has been some sort of weird and wonderful time warp and Onanon are stuck in the heady days of the early years of Flying Nun in Dunedin, playing alongside The 3Ds, Bailterspace and The Clean at a student flat party but somehow, Onanon have been criminally overlooked and weren't in the Flying Nun box set. But of course, Onanon are, in fact, right now in Dunedin and making noisy, lush and harmonic power-pop and if this little EP, handed to me at Camp A Low Hum, is a fair representation, they are awesome and I love them.
