PRESS RELEASE: Arcee set to drop The Arcee LP with massive party
The debut album from New Zealand's fastest rising female rapper Arcee is being released with a massive party at the iconic RE:Fuel bar in Dunedin on Friday 14 August.
The Arcee LP, produced by Flava FM’s DJ Daz, includes tracks such as her debut single ‘Go Hard’ which has 10,000 YouTube views and counting, and the NZ on Air funded ‘Rebound’. This album will turn Aotearoa hip hop on it’s head.
“As a lyricist and a musician, I put 100% into every track. That means making music where the words mean something. My lyrics are potent, challenging and straight up powerful. This is my introduction; and this album is just the beginning,” says Arcee
“I have put everything into this album. Now it’s time to celebrate the release with everyone who has supported me and new fans who are just starting to listen to my music.
"This one is a club banger, party album. That’s why we’re ready to debut in the south with those ready to party most.
“The Arcee LP is me, and is a tribute to New Zealand music.
“It’s going to be a sick night with support from Adam Carter and JR Lee, and Nikki Montana from Christchurch, as well as over $1000 of giveaways on the night. The album and much more Arcee merchandise will be up for grabs.”
Getting right in behind The Arcee LP album release party is Dunedin craft beer brewery, Green Man.
“Green Man is super stoked to support Arcee on her album release,” says Kelly Lindsay, Green Man’s sales and marketing manager.
“It's exciting for us on our relaunch to be associated with such an amazing talent. Green Man is definitely a fan of Arcee's sound!”
Tickets for The Arcee LP launch party are on sale now, $10 from eventfinda or $15 on the door.
The Arcee LP goes on sale 15 August on iTunes. More information at www.arceerapper.com.
